Our kitchen is done! {Well except for the knobs that are being put on the cabinets today} It looks fantastic!!! The best part is that our kitchen has become extremely functional. Before the renovations our kitchen was the most useless space in our house. And kitchens are supposed to be the life center of the house.
Our old kitchen was closed off, dark, and had barely any usable counter space. As well as a complete lack of good cabinet space. Now that we have removed a wall and decided that it will no longer be an eat in kitchen it is 1000 times better.
The breakfast bar is my favorite part. It give us a really usable space for everything. Last night while The Mister was deciding where to put things in cabinets I was able to sit at the breakfast bar and edit some photos so that we could still be in the same room. It's enough space for me to finally break out my sewing machine, or craft. It's also a fabulous space for laying out food when entertaining.
I know everyone would love some pictures however I'm not going to post any until after my mom sees the new kitchen. I will however leave you with this fantastic picture of E. She turned 18 months old today so in honor of that we had a little photo shoot yesterday in Cape May.
