Elisabeth found the Mickey Mouse Club on TV. Before the discovery of Mickey she could have cared less about the TV. Now however it's all Mickey all of the time. She will get the remote and bring it to me requesting Mickey. She says Mickey so cute too. {Mek he}
Before this weekend I was a tad tired of listening to Mickey while I made dinner or stuffed diapers, but then we went on an extended car ride.
Elisabeth still hates being in the car for more then 20-30 minutes. {Not that I blame her, because I think anything over 30 minutes in a car sucks} We were going to visit The Mister's grandfather who lives about two hours away. And on one fabulous occasion it took us close to four hours. But I digress. We left right before nap time, hoping that someone would nap most of the way there. We were lucky, she napped more then half of the journey! {We brought her sleep sheep along, and we made NO noise at all in the car}.
On the way home however she was pissed. It was tub time/bed time and we were still in the car. Also she only had about an hour nap when she's usually good for a nice long 2+ hour nap during the day. She was over tired and in the car. Those two things do not make for a pleasant car ride.
That's when I had the AMAZING idea to stream some youtube Mickey! I hopped into the back seat with her, pulled out my phone and we watched Mickey. She was so happy to see Mickey that the last 45 minutes of the journey flew by.
