10 lessons I’ve learned in 2011

  1. No matter how many “baby approved” toys that are out, E will ALWAYS make a bee line straight for the dog’s toys.
  2. Age is nothing more then a number.
  3. It really is just poop and poop is no big deal.
  4. I am stronger then I ever imagined possible.
  5. My body will in fact bounce back after pregnancy.
  6. I am in control of where I go from here.
  7. I cannot keep the same hours I kept in college.
  8. I am a light weight and one glass of wine now puts me on my ass.
  9. People change both for the negative and the positive.
  10. Motherhood is the single greatest accomplishment I will ever achieve.

A friend of mine can't wait to get me "trashed" when I'm done breastfeeding. I keep telling him it's going to be a short night.
